PLAY SCHOOL 

For ages from 2 ½ to 3 ½ years. (Toddlers)

Play School plays a significant role in a child’s development. This is because, it is the initial years of development, that is 2.5 to 3.5, years that the child picks up abilities that last with her/him for the longer part of life. Our team of teachers and staff at Lords provide proper care and support to children at this tender age, a time when they’re only budding and need special attention.  Here we insist on the method advocated by Reggio Emilia (learning from experience), Maria Montessori (self-directed activity) etc. which are considered to be the best and are followed in play schools elsewhere in the world. Here, the process of learning for children is fun and free of stress.

KINDERGARTEN

Kindergarten, the first level of formal education of a child is the time when the bases are formed – be it alphabets, numbers, language, reasoning or anything else. Whatever they learn at this age, sticks to them for the next couple of years. That is why it is also necessary to teach kids emotional aspects as well at this age through activities targeted at achieving emotional, physical and intellectual development, in a stress-free manner.

In Kindergarten at Lords, there is no ranking or grading so as to eliminate any sort of stress the children may otherwise have had to face. Instead, kindergarten curriculum is designed in a manner to help little kids identify their talents and potential, channel their interests and to create happy, smart and enthusiastic citizens. Children are encouraged to read, write and also to develop their mathematical skills.

GRADE I – X

Moving on from Kindergarten now come the next level of education, that is, grade 1 through grade X. Lords School helps children build a strong foundation regarding subjects, through innovative techniques of education, during their kindergartens. This helps them understand concepts in primary education with much ease. During these years, we follow ICSE syllabus. We also try to develop different skills, like communication skills, in the students, especially according to their interests, tastes and abilities. Teachers at Lords continuously evaluate kids and their area of interest along with the potential they show. Science lab and library facilities are also provided.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Application forms is available ONLINE. Physical Application forms can be collected from the school office also for admission 2025-26.

The registration forms are to be collected from the school office and should be duly filled by the parents. Both the parents must present themselves on the day prescribed for familiarizing. The following documents are to be enclosed along with the Application form.

  1. Parents must accompany the child for familiarizing
  2. Photocopy of the Birth certificate.
  3. Photocopy of Aadhar card .
  4. One passport size photograph.

For the admission to the classes from UKG TO Grade IX there would be an entrance exam. Only those who qualify the exam will be admitted.

PLAY GROUP – 2.5yrs to 3.5yrs
LKG – 3.5yrs and above as on June 1st.
